Yes, I found that out right after I posted that, altho I've never had the issue on a beeb before.

Just going to finish the test off with a bit of Frogger ala MTX "Toado".

Just for a laugh I tested the old 4116s that I removed from the MTX and 6 out of the 8 tested as faulty on the ram tester.

Now that I've got the MTX up and running I'll be looking to give it a modern upgrade or two.

Nice one, screen shots for sure please :)

BTW there is new firmware, 20230504, it's really good. Also just released are new utility disks.

It is way faster to pickup the display on boot. With the earlier firmware my machine would get to the Apple ][ screen but just show the v2 Analog splash screen over VGA.

With the latest firmware, it shows VGA almost instantaneously so I don't need to boot a disk to activate the v2, I can use VGA right away.

See if Martin has any MFX cards for sale. Also the TMSRGB (https://videogameperfection.com/product ... -v2-board/) works a treat if you don't want the MFX.

I’ve had a productive week so far this week retro wise.

Got one of my two TI-99/4As up and running and parts ordered for the other.

Both needed the 4116s replaced, the one now working needed a new socket for the TMS9929A and I had to steal one of the rom chips from the other board.

The other one needs a couple of new MC6810Ps when they arrive from China.

Anyway, here’s the mandatory screen shot.
