Nexus7 was problematic for me until this firmware. Since you're on a Rev5 66mhz is about the best you can expect.astuermer wrote: 14 May 2023 18:07 Flashed my TF1260 with the Raspberry method and version 3 of the firmware.
Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, was kinda slow but it worked on first try.
1D1 board with 3.2.2.1 ROMs here.
I am using internal IDE, CPU is a Rev 5.
With latest v1000 I had stable 50 and 67.
75 freezed immediately, 80 sometimes worked sometimes freezed immediately.
All between freezes and above 80 I never tried - I only have a cooler with a 12V fan so I am not sure it will be safe enough.
Currently testing some demos @ 66.65 (67 setting).
- 50 is stable as ever
- 58,33 (59) freezes immediately after opening a window
- 60 (61) same...
- 62,5 (63) same...
- 66,65 (67) stable as before (currently running Quake demo)
- 75 (75) freezes...
- 80 (80) freezes...
Which games and demos did you have problems with?Aardvark82 wrote: 08 May 2023 13:05 I tested every game and demo which I had experienced issues with previous FW, and they all work flawlessly now.

Re: TF1260 Testing FW
The iteration 3 firmware seems stable to me.
No problems so far the last days in my daily A1200 use.
Thanks and I hope you get well soon :)

Thanks. So can we confirm that the only known issue is 3.1.4?astuermer wrote: 17 May 2023 08:08 The iteration 3 firmware seems stable to me.

Re: TF1260 Testing FW
I think I am the only one who has tested 3.1.4
I did try Iteration 2 and 3, which did not work.
Then going back to Dec 2021? firmware it worked fine, so I hope I have ruled out user error :D

Re: TF1260 Testing FW
Just added ehide.
I guess you want to make TF1260 more compatible, but when ehide v1.2 comes out I will move to Kick 3.2 + ehide V1.2

Re: TF1260 Testing FW
Hi Higgy, I have now burned a couple of OS 3.1.4 roms with ehide included in them, and I just tested it on my A1200 using Chucky`s TF1260 test os system that you can download from his website, it works fine here, boots from the TF1260 IDE no problem, perhaps it will be good if you can try Chucky`s system too to see if you get a different result.Higgy wrote: 18 May 2023 09:43 Just added ehide.

Update**
So I found an 060 314 system that I had done a while back and this is working fine again on my Custom 314 roms with ehide and booting from the TF1260 IDE

Re: TF1260 Testing FW
Today i got a random freeze during music streaming with AmiAmp.
Usually this runs for hours. Freeze was approx 50-60 mins after a clean start.
No overclocking.
ROMs 3.2.2.1 and OS 3.2.2.1
CPU has a metal cooler and a 12V Noctua.
Temps are 35 degrees (cooler).

Re: TF1260 Testing FW
Ok here is what i've found so far. I'm using a TF1260 + Iteration 3 + a Kingston 8Gb CF card on the TF only, nothing in the motherboard. @supaduper supplied me with 3.1.4 + ehide rom images.
1. The A1200 takes 1-2 minutes to boot but it does boot. Its sitting waiting for ages for the internal IDE to do something. I think this is probably correct behaviour in 3.1.4.
If i add a something on the internal IDE it boots much quicker.
