And the Enterprise now has a VGA cable:

Picture quality is pretty nice and anly 6 wires required at either end. Pretty simple to build too.

Only one issue is that there is a bit of a shimmer, not terrible and I don't know if its the cable, the Enterprise or the display.

Otherwise it's a very sharp display :)

Looks good @rubber_jonnie. I've been using mine on an ossc via a scary lead.

Could you link to the vga cable details please

I'll clean up my scruffy build notes and post over the weekend 👍

I'm considering building a scart lead too, I have most of the parts for that, just need to order some more connectors for the video (and joystick) ports

There's a guy in Hungary that sells them ready made here: Enterprise goodies

The PETSCII Robots screen shimmers ‘cos they’re doing something Clever(tm) on the video.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Wouldn't surprise me, but I do also get a shimmer on other screens, such as the menu and in BASIC, though it does vary a bit depending whats on screen.

BTW I found this on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266600790896

And whilst the tips are centre positive, it doesn't take a lot to modify to centre negative. Seems to run reasonably cool.
