Still no further forward with the eBay saga yet.. Question is how long to leave it before opening up a dispute...

Sat scratching my head because my drum and bass mix I uploaded to YouTube a few days ago has had over 400 views and nine thumbs up so far..

I know YouTube fiddled the algorithm recently so that any sort of click counts as a view now people are moaning about.. But the fact people are actually clicking the like button and I now have 9 likes is pretty much unprecedented for my channel..

I would have thought my boob battle video would have been the one which would generate the views but that is pretty much flopped right out of the gate. So I don't understand why the drum and bass mix seems to be getting attention. In particular I don't even particularly like drum and bass and don't even think it was a particularly good set of tracks anyway.

Well claude keeps telling me "no" these days which isn't helpful. Been trying to build up information I want to add to the wiki. Most is in the public domain anyway but that counts as nothing it seems. Its not a direct copy, its reference material to build new articles from. But as it can't figure out who the copyright holder is, which is basically everything, and I can't verify permission, it refuses everything now.

That's not even the best part. It's basically hypocritical by design as the AI models were trained on tons of data without permission or seeking copyright from all across the internet and yet it actively refuses to let me correlate a few articles taken from random sites to produce new articles from.

So you're basically okay if you are mega rich company to do whatever you like, but if I want to correlate some blitter articles as reference material then it's a big nope. I think my last threads of sanity are slowly sipping away.

Even more annoying, in my Kitty Cannon talks, I was basically saying it is pointless to continue because the game is just getting ripped off or basically not got enough interestetc.. and now for some reason it keeps pushing me to ring the Samaritans because it's got the wrong end of the stick of what I said, and now I cannot get it to stop asking if I am okay and to ring my GP or whatever every five bloody minutes!!

If I rang the Samaritans, the Samaritans would have to ring the Samaritans after I was through with them.

Ebay saga continues. Still no refund. Seller has now put his store in away mode for the next month. So technically it then be 2 months since I bought the item.

Click item not received and evilbay just put it has been received and to go look for it FFS!

That annoys my girlfriend as well. Says received when it's not. Received doesn't mean its been received by the buyer!! Ebay and evri work on the same flawed system.

So not only have we got sellers re-using tracking codes. Sellers shipping to wrong address or not shipping at all. Packages gong missing or arriving damaged. Plus delivery drivers delivering to wrong addresses... You can trust buying anything at all now. I had a battle with FedEx who failed to deliver a expensive package for 2 weeks a few months back. Buying stuff is becoming a mini nightmare these days.

Contacted evilbay. Let's see if their buyer protection holds up.. If they just look at tracking then I'm out of pocket.

So as I keep saying, everything these days is x10 more effort than it needs to be.

A minute later I get a email saying my refund is on its way ! So at least that's a win for a change. I must have typed the secret sauce the AI overlords liked.
