Hehe, I was just discovering that myself the other night, right after playing with the colour modes. The mono picture looks gorgeous, but it's not in the right place. I haven't get taken the time to fiddle with all knobs, but I'm sure I can improve it somewhat.PaulJ wrote: 28 Jun 2020 15:34 High resolution is a pain in the arse getting the OSSC to provide a centered screen with a good presentation. Milage may vary but it is nice to use a HDMI monitor.

Will be hoping to be able to afford one of those later this year...and maybe the HDMI replacement for the shifter too!

Re: exxos blog - random goings on
What is it with these original boards packing in all the time :cussing: :cussing:
The STE I'm using to test the simms seems to have iffy sockets. So thought I would swap it for my other test machine, which was working fine last week as I was testing some ROMs out for my store (and put back on the shelf working) . connected it up and totally white screen does not boot. :headbang:
I just don't have these problems at all with H4. Use it, go back a week later and it still working fine. So looks like I will have to do yet another project in creating a H4 simm adapter board to let me test simms out in the future, as I just don't have time to keep screwing around trying to figure out why these machines keep on dying all the time :cussing:

You can get a 72pin simm to 4 x 30 pin simm adaptor, just can't remember where from.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
