Sorry I'm tired, I don't see any firmware flashing. I assume that happened? Been a long day, sorry if I missed it.

This is a good thread. If I get to go down this route, Im just going to follow this for the setup... unless it all goes south later on. :lol: :hide:
@exxos I have to ask... Will you be making any fully built up PiStorms for the store?

So thats more chance you will find the solution and be able to tell us the pitfalls.
Yes I saw you mention that. I was thinking more 'fully' populated for the non soldering types like me. :lol:

Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog
Ah well, if it runs for more than 30 seconds before I break it, then that's a good start. Otherwise we will have to pester @Badwolf to fix it as its all software nonsense i know nothing about.mrbombermillzy wrote: 26 Apr 2024 20:55 So thats more chance you will find the solution and be able to tell us the pitfalls.
Ah yeah , I don't know how I'm soldering mine up yet :lol: but I can probably do the odd one with the headers on.exxos wrote: 26 Apr 2024 20:32 Yes I saw you mention that. I was thinking more 'fully' populated for the non soldering types like me. :lol:

Well, no pressure or anything. If one does become 'spare' at some point, let me know. ;)exxos wrote: 26 Apr 2024 21:03 Ah yeah , I don't know how I'm soldering mine up yet :lol: but I can probably do the odd one with the headers on.

Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog
I've decided to join you on your journey... just ordered one of your boards.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Hoping to order one very soon too - might have to use a Pi 3B+ to start with (cat has had a few trips to the vet recently, so funds are more scarce than usual :() and get a Pi 4 when I can...
