Well I looked it up online and it said it'll do CDRs so I'll try one and let you know the outcome.

Yeh it'll work as long as you burn an EU region disc. You just won't be able to burn USA or JP discs.

You should be able to play JPN and US (but they will be at 50Hz if console is not region moddied).
I originally converted an Action Reply to a Pseudo Saturn cart then to Pseudo Saturn Kai:

You did need to patch CDRs (included in the download), not sure if that is still a requirement.

Well it ran the Unreal tech demo just fine 😁

So that's a good start, downloading and testing some more images next.

I downloaded Sega Ages 1 (Europe) and Space Harrier (Japan) to test and they ran just fine. I'll test properly with some US stuff tomorrow, but so far no patching required, this may change the more I burn images.

Space Harrier is also on Sega Ages, but I wanted to test a Japanese version with the PSK and so far so good. I'll test some US stuff today hopefully.

I have to say that the Sega Ages compilation, with Afterburner II, Outrun and Space Harrier really took me back to the arcades I used to haunt back in the day. Space Harrier was the first motion cabinet game I played and boy did it make an impression. The second was Afterburner.

The Saturn versions do not disappoint despite the lack of a motion cabinet :)

Yeah, really pleased with the results, don't think I'll bother with 50/60hz mod for now.

Got a whole bunch of games to burn when I get home later.
