Re: ST-IDE-ROM Dev Board v1 - BETA Testers
Good progress today, just waiting for the remainder of the components to arrive, then I'll do the mods and see what's what.
Fits this board nicely
With minimal stacking

Icky, is the extreme high rise due to the keyboard connector? I plan on putting it in a mega and it doesn't appear there is anything to be avoided in the area the board covers. Still waiting.... on the board.Icky wrote: Thu Feb 28, 2019 11:55 pm
That socket stack would have to be pretty tall to allow the keyboard connector to be underneath the IDE board.
Something like this but possibly taller.

PaulJ. Yep it’s a DEV board. i.e. no regard for fitting nicely in an ST. If things are in the way stack yourself out of the way.PaulJ wrote: Sat Apr 06, 2019 4:07 pmIcky, is the extreme high rise due to the keyboard connector? Trudie (I mean the production board) will be designed to miss out components on the ST board.

Re: ST-IDE-ROM Dev Board v1 - BETA Testers
TBH it may fit my board without a second CPU socket stacked in there, but it's my general test and dev board, so had the extra one in for testing my PAK.
Once I have it running I will consider pulling the second socket, see if theres space.

Re: ST-IDE-ROM Dev Board v1 - BETA Testers
Ya know guys, this is some kind of syndrome, one catches it from having to-many un-fu*k boards in their life. I blame this all on Exxos and his obsession with un-fu*kit boards. You can't deal with it unless it looks like downtown NYC or an other large city..!! You really need to seek out some professional help!

Yes a professional stacker. Got a whole bunch of header pins ready
