Quite fun to revisit that old Basilisk code and hopefully the work I'm doing now to get it running on Raven will benefit potential support for Vampire too.

If you're digging around in Basilisk, I'd meant to report the latest version on your website doesn't set the palette properly in 256 or TC mode on my Falcon. Previous version is OK.

Ah, I didn't know that. I'll see if I can repro in Hatari and make a fix.
I'm not fully up to speed on what my old messy code is doing so it'll take a while to get into the swing of things. The video code in particular is a bit of a disaster in terms of structure

Not sure if this is the correct thread for this:

What I found on the ST with images available that SQ4 is not playable beyond the sewer as you can't move forward. The game does not progress.

Yeah I was quite disappointed about Freddy Pharkas too (as well as other Sierra + Dynamix titles).
They do run in the Windows version of BasiliskII and I remember strongly suspecting the virtual soundcard driver of the Atari port being the culprit.
But then my brain told me to focus on a ScummST version for Sierra SCI32 games instead but in the end I wasn't able to muster up the motivation for such an endevour

Being such an old design it's pretty terrible as far as gamepads go.
Ergonomics is on par with the worst of them (NES) and fire buttons too far apart to make any kind of sense.
But hey, it's wireless and it has an Atari logo! More then enough for me and I've just enjoyed using it in a session of Stunt Car Racer

Now it's time to take it apart and re-wire one of those fire buttons to act as dpad-up.

Cool gamepad indeed. Yes you want to have a “jump” button

On the Amiga (shapeshifter) the Sierra games also have issues especially on a 030 although on a 060 they run OK at least thats my experience with for instance Larry and Willy Beamish and also there it is something with the sound which causes the problems (without sounds its more stable).

I have it configured for writethrough rather than copyback cache.
Copyback is faster of course but at this moment, for me, I don't feel the gain is worth the hassle and uncertainty of what software may or may not crap out because of CB.

Thanks, I haven’t been able to find this with the forum nor Google search. 221 coremark is quite impressive!
