BTW have you seen this: Intellivision Sprint

I hope there is USB media support as the 45 included games really don't cover some of what I'd like to see.
Collector of many retro things!

Approx 20 STs, including a 520 STM, 520 STFMs, 3x Mega ST, MSTE & 2x 32 Mhz boosted STEs
Plus the rest, totalling around 50 machines including a QL, 3x BBC Model B, Electron, Spectrums, ZX81 etc...

No not seen this, thanks for sharing it. Generally I prefer the real thing but this could be an exception - real game overlays and I see there's Intellivision Boulder Dash included there too! I would love to get that game :P . There's also B-17 Bomber which uses the Intellivoice - you really need that to play it properly. Maybe voice is included?

Yes, it's not too forthcoming about adding games, just "USB-A port can connect original Intellivision II and II controllers (with adapter). Can also be used to play additional games (sold separately)". I also hope it will let us use roms we already have - will be on my list for Santa for sure then!

I prefer the real thing too, but this is kind of the way I may operate in the future as I may thin my collection when I retire. So like The 400 Mini, The Spectrum, The C64 etc.

I'm hoping it will have USB like The 400 Mini. I guess we'll see.

BTW I just watched a video and the Sprint does indeed have a USB socket so you can add ROMs that way too :)

Just seen that too - I found out a bit more via this link. Although not shown, there is a way to include the box art etc as well. They should advertise this feature better - it's almost the first question people have! Perhaps there will be some way to get overlays printed for those extra ROMs.

I saw it for £99 on Amazon. It looks like a very good package to me. Do I get one considering I already have the original. :? It's pretty tempting with those wireless controllers, voice, Boulder Dash new game, and having all those overlays!

I'm considering one, but we have a couple of big bills to deal with, so maybe xmas. After all I just got 'The C64' for my birthday.

How've you found the The C64? I see it has REU supported which is pretty cool.

I haven't used it yet as my birthday isn't until Wednesday :)

Ha, same as my daughter! It will be good to know how you get on - the Sonic the Hedgehog game uses extra memory / REU. An impressive game on the C64 if you've not tried it. I've played it using VICE / RetroPie, but not on my real C64.

Well, the reality is, I'm in France and The C64 is at home, so the chances of me doing anything with it tomorrow are slime to none...

I travel home on Sunday though and have monday off so will hopefully get right into it :)

Wish your daughter a happy birthday from me :) Not often you encounter somebody with a shared birthday.
