Oh, I see. They've been moved to more conventional positions, following more standard HCI guidelines.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

@Cosmic Puppet See how much you can learn while using these obsolete systems!

If it was Windoze you'd find most things changing every few weeks & almost nothing would work like it used to.... :headbang:

Was thinking that @JezC With EmuTOS there are people I can speak to if my programs behave differently. 8-)

ugh, Let's hope they don't start following Microsoft's layout of make everything in a plain white box methodology.. And web designers methodology of making things as hidden as possible and making as much work as possible for the user. It is normally the end when things start getting moved about unnecessarily  Then the icons get fiddled with and they all turned into washed out grey colours with no contrast... I need to go look at some gem windows now and calm down...

I turned off the window shadows on my PC as I thought I didn't need it and it's just unnecessary processing. Then this morning I kept selecting the wrong window when two were open. When I checked what was happening, it was because I couldn't see the edge of the overlapped window, as it was white on white. Shadow is now back on.

The OK and CANCEL buttons have moved making the box bigger.

Not life breaking, I just noticed when I was confirming that the lag on Notator without NVDI had gone on version 1.0.prg onwards. :)
Bummer. Was working on stuff and got a ping from my head, so I loaded up Notator from disk and sure enough the update is changing more than Notator's file box.

The lines that separate the options look like this:

20211029_192937.jpg
20211029_192937.jpg (338.2 KiB) Viewed 2495 times

But were originally this:

20211029_193154.jpg
20211029_193154.jpg (383.87 KiB) Viewed 2495 times

It feels a bit anti-nostalgic.

This is the build with 3D Objects turned off on the latest snapshot.

Version 1.0 is perfect.

I don't know why this stuff gets changed. I am with you on this one as well, I prefer to have more broken up lines rather than solid type lines. Have you looked if any of this has been recorded in the change logs anywhere ?

I'm not wanting to cause trouble.

I just noticed it because my mind was distracted and that usually means something has changed.

I don't understand any of the programming stuff. Way out of my intelligence lol

Version 1.0 seems to work perfectly with everything on the new SD card I'm building. Just think it would be a shame if the software left me behind.
