PC was in a box for 8 months.

Moved up to Scotland in winter last year. Now on the Angus coast. 8-)

Started swimming in the Sea a few months ago. Atari all set up and working.

Been quite the head mincer but starting to settle.

I bet the sea's a bit chilly :D

Looks like a fantastic area. Good to see you've got round to setting up the important things but I imagine they take a back seat with all that scenery

I've got my mind on a leash with that one. I just wrap up afterwards. Plus the walk there warms me up.

Gonna sea how long I can keep it up. The Sea permanently rearranged the coast just before I arrived

I was saving up to put some soundproof flooring down so couldn't really set up.

Gonna get into music more soon when I've put up more foam tiles.

Small room...bit echoey.

It's also been a challenge being a smaller flat. Had to get rid of furniture and buy a matching computer table that was a foot shallower for space. Still much more to do, but have to do it in bits.

Old Versus New

Post by Cosmic Puppet »

The power switch on my Tascam Model 12 is failing. I have to switch it on the power trail to keep it working while my new switch arrives. Just outside my 3 year warranty. I'm sure we've all got original Atari power switches that still work perfectly.

Thankfully the old switch can be pulled out and connected without opening up the unit. It is glued in though.

Notator.org

Post by Cosmic Puppet »

Not sure where to or how to post this because it's been a while. Thinking some of you might have a good idea as to the best way to proceed with making a copy of the Notator.org website from the Archive online, since I would like a local copy of this for preservation and also convenience. I don't want to have to rely on the internet for this information and copying each page/file will be a lengthy process. Is the meticulous way the best? or is there a tool that can take away the pain of it all?
