OSSC feeling quite warm.
I've noticed whilst having it switched on for a while, that the unit gets quite warm on the bottom right.
Is that metal square a heat dissipater over a chip?

No. It's an oscillator. Or if you mean the black heatsink, then yes. It's a chip underneath. 😁

Okay, thanks. I guess it's the chip under the heatsink getting warm. At least I know it has a heatsink. Thanks. 8-)DoG wrote: 01 Jul 2023 17:30 No. It's an oscillator. Or if you mean the black heatsink, then yes. It's a chip underneath. 😁

Trying video capturing again.
Uploaded from mkv file.
Does anyone know whether the quality will be better if I save as mp4 and then upload?
I will check this soon.

Time counter not matching audio (OBS)
Do any of you have experience with OBS settings when recording, as when I record Notator the audio is ahead of the video capture of notator's bar counter.

Re: The Cosmic Puppet's Universe.
It’s usually the analog-digital converter which adds the delay to the video. You can adjust the audio delay in the advanced audio settings.
I discovered this today whilst trying to record from a Betamax video

Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.
