Re: Icky - Progress
We should do something grand for the penthouse un-fu*kit board... something that towers over Icky's power supply with lots of connectors on it.

Wonder if my floppy standoffs would work for the PSU?Icky wrote: 27 Nov 2018 13:37 Its getting very tight in there. Video DAC board is intruding on the PSU mounts shifting it back a bit.
I think Exxos won't be happy until my PSU is standing at least a foot above the board.

Might need quite a few of them by the time Exxos is finished. :Drubber_jonnie wrote: 27 Nov 2018 14:15Wonder if my floppy standoffs would work for the PSU?Icky wrote: 27 Nov 2018 13:37 Its getting very tight in there. Video DAC board is intruding on the PSU mounts shifting it back a bit.

Due to the board not having the right hole locations I had to improvise with L legs using nylon stand-offs. Super glue works wonders sticking those things together.
So some how your floppy standoffs would need to be L shaped.

Would be quite easy to do, what's the difference between centres?

I'll have a look as they could be a bit more offset than I have them.rubber_jonnie wrote: 27 Nov 2018 15:30Would be quite easy to do, what's the difference between centres?

Re: Icky - Progress
Finally got the PSU into a position that all the layers of boards, shelves, extensions etc were ok.
I’ll send out dimensions tonight for the legs. Currently the nylon spacers superglued together are holding but they are not that stable. One looks like a honeycomb monstrosity. :)
