My RISC OS 3.11 roms are still in the basket on Evil Bay...

I might burn them by myself but I have to check which EPROMs I have in stock.

It would be easier to diagnose POST errors with them.

Retro-kit is a good web site, but Paul sadly passed away... RIP.

Yeah, it was terrible he passed away so young, but at least his site lives on and will be cared for by the people who run Stardot.

And that's really heart warming as Paul's good work won't be in vain.

I've been helping someone help with the collection Paul had. Some of it was on display at the event I helped with on Saturday.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

I guess Paul had a huge collection, and it's good to know that it isn't lost and someone is still taking care of it.

Just a little feedback, as I had no much time these last days to take care of my Archie.

The keyboard ribbon connector is now repaired :D .

Even if the damage was not something to worry about after trimming the connector, I preferred to cover some traces with conductive paint.

Once the paint dried, I have fitted crimp connectors on both ribbon cables.

I guess fitting these connectors would have been easier with a vice, but as the ribbons are short, I pressed each crimp directly on the connector instead of using pliers.

The result is quite nice, but this job is not for everyone and you can easily f..k up the connectors.
