Cyber Legends part 2 (2023)
Re: Cyber Legends part 2 (2023)
FYI - 9th October is a Monday - so I assume it will be Sunday 8th October.
It's about a 2.5 hour drive for me - It would be nice to meet you all

Re: Cyber Legends part 2 (2023)
Sounds good to me Phil. My cousin and nan live fairly close (MK area), so I can probably stay over anyway.
The only problem is the 8pm finish. I will barely have time to untangle my leads box!
Seriously though, this time, I'm taking 2, maybe 3 computers and THAT'S IT!! I should be able to show something working then.
Maybe get away from it all and come down?

Re: Cyber Legends part 2 (2023)
Went to see the hall today and I think it should be fine for what we need. Plenty of plug sockets, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, fridge. Projector screen but we’d have to use our own projector.
I think I’ll book it for the 8th and will look forward to seeing you all then.
Dodgy photos below
The deposit will be £100 I believe, which I shall pay when booking. Is everyone okay with 10am till 8pm on Sunday 8th October?

All looks good and built before Northampton expanded and swallowed the village.
If we need a projector I'm sure that I can borrow one from work.

Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Re: Cyber Legends part 2 (2023)
Thats great @PhilC
So, just to confirm, its definitely Sunday October the 8th?
I will start composing a flyer.
However, (at some point) we will need some info about whats happening. i.e.:
- Are we doing the Eventbrite thing again and is @Icky still up for lending a hand? (Perhaps another demo of the Phoenix?)
- Do we want to do another raffle/prize?
- We should maybe find out how many people want to come and exhibitors; what they are bringing/spectators?
@stephen_usher I have 2 projectors (one XGA, the other SVGA), both need bulbs, but I can buy one for the XGA unit if you cant pick a projector up from work.

Re: Cyber Legends part 2 (2023)
I may be able to get an HD projector with both VGA and HDMI inputs. HDMI should allow an OSSC to be connected.

Re: Cyber Legends part 2 (2023)
Ok. Let me know if it turns out to be a problem.
EDIT: I also have a couple of HDMI to VGA adapters I will bring too. Not sure of how well they will work with different configs, but they may prove handy.
