Made my first retro purchase to be delivered to the new house but have not got any retro gear out and sorted to get up and running again yet.
@rubber_jonnie this was the one I was trying to describe at the computer event in Cambridge but got it mixed up with an Einstein.
It's actually an Enterprise 64 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enterprise_(computer)
I also find it funny its OS is the EXOS - one X away from the man himself @exxos :)

Nice, another one I'd like but after buying the Aquarius, 600XL and Ultrasonic cleaner, I need to step back a little :)Icky wrote: 02 Jan 2022 17:52 Made my first retro purchase to be delivered to the new house but have not got any retro gear out and sorted to get up and running again yet.

Plus I'm likely to be buying a Toshiba HX10 next month!!
I remember the Enterprise when it was announced, and I really wanted one, but they were a bit expensive, so I stuck with my Spectrum and then my A8s.
Be nice to see some pics when it arrives, if you're not too busy unpacking stuff.

Ah yes, I was after one of those back before the ST was released...but the delays meant I ended up waiting for the 1040 STF.
I was going to get the 520STM but uni expenses...well, ok the beer bill ;)...meant that the 1040 was announced by the time I'd saved up enough funds for the 520 so it made sense to wait a bit longer & get the 1040 with SM125...
Would be a nice addition to the collection but I doubt it will ever fall into my price bracket now. :(
