If you sell 7 or 8... You have all of them working. Problem solved.

I like this slightly unusual approach to solving the problem ;)

rubber_jonnie wrote: 18 Jan 2021 16:01 Nice to have them all running now, in fact I don't think I have a dead ST in the house :) (I think that's probably tempting fate if I'm honest!!)
2 weeks later... RAM fault.. RAM fault.. RAM fault.. :hide:
Don't worry, I'm sure a quantity of them will break when I move house in March/April, leading to a whole new set of challenges to report here!

Yes, but an approach that would very much positively impact your dead machine count 😁

Anyway, if you have more than one dead one, you're not trying hard enough 😜

@rubber_jonnie , reading your mega posts remind me of a ASPCA TV commercial.

Help Rubber Jonnie stop Atari Mega cruelty. The Mega you have with all its teeth knocked out is hard to look at, and they all seem to come to your home with Alzheimer's. Maybe you should start a "Go Fund Me" page for the care and feeding of abused Mega's.

That sounds like a fine idea to me :)

The more Megas the merrier!

Jon, if I've ever seen Mega cruelty its that machine where the previous owner cut its lips off and knocked its teeth out. There should be an investigation and that individual sentenced to a long prison term without the possibility of parole.

Not really @exxos , maybe the savage he purchased the one Mega from. Mr Jonnie should be commended for providing a home for abused and wayward Mega's. He did cure the Alzheimer’s two of the machines suffered from.
