I only have 2 64K banks left, and 2 versions of YAART will use up both of those.

Or are you meaning the actual PRG file as thats about 8K ?exxos wrote: 24 Jan 2019 16:45I only have 2 64K banks left, and 2 versions of YAART will use up both of those.
Would be cool on a RAM disk with both programs. Though I am not sure about it needing to get to the desktop over simply booting right up from cartridge.. Though I guess it does beg the question that other smaller programs could be loaded into the RAM disk as well I guess ?

Re: 16BIT ROM CART THOUGHTS
Never thought about putting YAART on a cart, excuse the rhyme.
That's a good idea.
Are you releasing that cart sometime exxos? I made my own as you know but too little time to design something similar to yours and may just invest in one if you do make them.

I'm going to order some new boards soon, so if anyone wants one there be a few spares. I may build a small batch for my store, but with so much going on it could be some time before I get around to it.Forgottenmyname wrote: 24 Jan 2019 17:05 Are you releasing that cart sometime exxos? Spoil sport.
Actually, that's not too hard a kit to solder anyway.

True, but it took me like 3 months just to get around to programming the ROM. Just so much to do that even simple things take months for me to get done. I only went back to this project as I am laid up with man-flu, and thought its something not too taxing to do..

Ah, I didn't know you were using 64KB banks. But why use separate banks for the ram tests? Here's a 64KB cart image with both tests.
I have perfected several methods to be able to pretty much put anything on a cart. Only the size is a limit after packing. There's room on this image for more as well.
