It's bad when you can buy a whole computer for spares cheaper than one chip! I wanted a spare 1772 myself but they are too expensive at the mo.

Yeah, chips are getting really expensive. I am trying to source as many as I can this week to buy like 100 of each before prices get any worse. Icky, blisters are pretty had to find.. it looks like a another machine or BEST. I don't have the patience to try places that most likely don't have the chips and then advertise them. Sometimes getting your money back can be a time consuming pain in the as#! I'm going to order a glitter from best to replace the one I took out of the mega.

Ouch - Thats not good, you can only imagine the pain.
In all the time I was building the STF the only time I burnt my finger was trying to install the Floppy Un-f*ck board.
