Re: SpeedyTT, black screen of death !!!! HELP
Both BlueSCSI and ZuluSCSI are quite similar (in fact they share a lot of the firmware code), therefore if the BlueSCSI works for others then the ZuluSCSI should work as well.
For starters I would recommend to make sure you have the latest firmware installed on the ZuluSCSI: https://github.com/ZuluSCSI/ZuluSCSI-fi ... 2025.12.18
And as others have already mentioned if possible you should try to verify that the TT SCSI bus works with other SCSI devices like a standard harddisk.

Re: SpeedyTT, black screen of death !!!! HELP
I've just upgraded my TT with a ZuluSCSI Pico 2040 version and my TT is happy with it in its default configuration (after imaging the drives from the previous SD2SCSIv6). I have termination turned on as I've removed the termination resistors from the motherboard so as to use external devices.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

TO ALL NEW PARTICIPANT IN THIS THREAD
The issue is not the SCSI, but was the Booster SpeedyTT, the SCSI is working very fine with a real SCSI HDD.
There is some incompatibility with SpeedyTT and ZuluSCSI, I am not an EE but I will guess a timing issue now the TT run at 48Mhz.

Re: SpeedyTT, black screen of death !!!! HELP
SCSI is a packet based protocol over a common data bus.
The NCR5380 is the interface controller chip, which does all the SCSI bus transfers. Unless this is getting overclocked somehow I'm not sure how this would affect the communication between the ZuluSCSI and the TT. The CPU etc. interfaces with the NCR5380 via registers and DMA.

Glad it's working zftenchy, but you really are a master of jumping to conclusions :) like everyone was saying, it isn't a speedy issue, me and Jun both have speedy. When they designed the speedy they made sure that any peripherals were not affected by the speed.
