Where I'm assuming nobody will ultimately do anything. After all, I asked for years for someone to help port the remaining AMN articles over. Nobody offered, so I gave up.The content will remain lost. It's what killed off the diskmags as well, not enough people to contribute.so whatever the state of the wiki is after Xmas, I'm assuming that's the state it will ultimately stay in. So I'd prefer it to be as fixed as possible, otherwise nobody will use it and my efforts will be for nothing. Just leaving it for others to fix sadly will likely not happen.

Well that's the problem with asking others to do what you think they should rather than what they want to spend time on. As one of the wiki authors I know for a fact I added information and kept the page I felt "ownership" for quite updated.

Ok, so I've started translating some French articles to English on the Wiki. If you find some French pages which are not named <PAGE_TITLE>/fr please send me the name of the page via PM.
I have translated around 50 pages so far, I have spotted some Assembly tutorials still to translate and will do it later today (hopefully).
Also, the translated pages have a Language bart at the top to select between English and French, if you see such pages, do not hesitate to have a look at the English version and send me some comments if something is not correctly translated or missing (I got help from ChatGPT to speed up the translation, but it can be lazy or 'artistic' sometimes...) .

I have done around 20 more translations today and I don't find any other French documents. Please let me know if you find some.
BTW, in order to speed up the translation, I wrote a quick python script which:
1- Retrieve a page from the Wiki
2- Save it locally (you never know what can happen...)
3- Add the proper tags at the beginning of the page
4- Push it back to the wiki
5- Ask ChatGPT to translate the page to English
6- Push the English page to the Wiki.

It works OK on short pages but when the page is too long ChatGPT tends to truncate the result.
If someone wants to translate other languages, I can obviously share the script. (I saw many German language pages...)
