Interested a lot in the 3D printing and STFM case remake. So would love to see it and understand a bit about your design process and the printer you have. 😀Icky wrote: 17 Aug 2022 09:27 I am planning on a presentation / demo in the later stages of the event on the Phoenix platform which will include working showcases including the 3D printed @exxos' favourite PINK coloured case.

Btw I received a PSU that is compatible with the RGB Splitter that works with Titan's Expose so will bring that.
Re: The kitchen...my thoughts were to not leave the hall for food but we'd need something to keep us going. Pizza delivery is an option but otherwise I was tempted to make a large pot of something simple that can be warmed up with rice or pasta...or we just bring some frozen pizzas to jazz up and cook.
Happy to make a soya mince chilli pot the night before that's vegetarian friendly...? Then bring plastic bowls and cutlery. Helps keep the costs down? Would probably need to know numbers though.
Finding food and ordering if we go out could take valuable hours be costly and there is the security aspect of leaving all that kit out...

Missed that, will have a look. Thanks @DoG. My brother in law built one but don't have much time so may have to buy one.DoG wrote: 28 Aug 2022 18:04Look at his Giant Panda here.viking272 wrote: 28 Aug 2022 17:53 Interested a lot in the 3D printing... @viking272 - The Giant Panda would fill up the whole of the back of the car up including having the seats down so I won't be bringing the 3D printer to the event. Happy to talk about the Giant Panda though on the day.
EDIT: I will bring the 3D printed case and keyboard remake to the event.

Yes of course, it did look large - but would be great to see the case and keyboard 👍Icky wrote: 28 Aug 2022 18:29 @viking272 - The Giant Panda would fill up the whole of the back of the car up including having the seats down so I won't be bringing the 3D printer to the event. Great stuff! If you think the Falcon is up to the task, I can perhaps bring along a Hi8/SVHS camera? Ive got a VHS video deck or two and even a video editing mixer, should you be inclined to make a movie at the show! ;) Just let me know if any of that sounds interesting and I will add it to the bring list.viking272 wrote: 28 Aug 2022 18:14 Btw I received a PSU that is compatible with the RGB Splitter that works with Titan's Expose so will bring that.
I can't really answer that adequately without knowing what others will want to do, food wise .viking272 wrote: 28 Aug 2022 18:14 Re: The kitchen...my thoughts were to not leave the hall for food but we'd need something to keep us going. What I CAN do is to say there's a Dominos Pizza/Curry house/Thai/Fish & Chips/Chinese, all about 5 mins walk from the hall.
Some will deliver, but otherwise, Mrs. BomberMillzy has offered to 'pick up' any orders anyway for exhibitors that want to order food in the town, so leaving your gear will not be an issue. (She will be there to help serve drinks, etc on the day).
If it's a case of cost (which I completely understand) and if you really are wanting to bring your own and are also happy to offer some to your fellow exhibitors, I can ask anyone attending if they would like to 'order' some of your home cooked food and we can try to get a rough estimate here.
The former option would be simpler and I don't want you to have to unneccessarily go to all the trouble, but perhaps people will appreciate your kind gesture and take you up on the latter option.
I'm open to any suggestions...perhaps some of the exhibitors would like to chip in with their eating plans?

It's probably a lot easier for you, especially if you want to look around/chat/demo your gear. Less things to worry about.viking272 wrote: 28 Aug 2022 21:31Sounds perfect ... nice bit of fish and chips by the seaside :) But happy with all of thosemrbombermillzy wrote: 28 Aug 2022 20:35 What I CAN do is to say theres a Dominos Pizza/Curry house/Thai/Fish & Chips/Chinese, all about 5 mins walk from the hall.
But, I'm not trying to discourage you either! :D
