CF cards can easily exceed the partition account and size, and the only thing I could think people would want a second port is for something like a CD-ROM. So currently I am designing the new board with only one port as I think just is not needed to have 2.
I kind of think that a slave port is unnecessary, but is it not possible to have a single connector with a master and slave device off a single cable?

The same thought popped in my mind...I did not look into it or anything.

I'd possibly like to have 2 devices as the Iomega Rev drive I have appears as a CD ROM I believe.

Trudie had master slave, but I never coded it or tried it.

I have got 10 Trudie PCBs in the making. Icky already updated it some weeks ago. I may well intend Trudie V4 for original STFM's etc since it has onboard ROM.

In terms of the H4, it already has new ROM and CPU, so having them on Trudie is pointless. So I am making a "H4" version of Trudie. I am trying to get it onto 2 layers, Trudie so far uses 4 layers. I doubt I will have this finished to catch the current PCB order, but going to try. Even so, I can continue developed on V4 Trudie anyway.

Still working on this... Been moving a lot of stuff about because there was just too much stuff overlapping both sides of the board before :roll:

Currently I am moving stuff about to get some good power tracks in...

EDIT:

There is a stupid bug in eagle with polygons...

For example...

The highlighted top red square is GND and the surrounding fill is VCC... so this is actually how it is supposed to be..

BUT, actually had to put in the top resist layer to stop it from shorting out...

As the same square is now overlapping the VCC fill :roll:

@exxos Take my money now.

I could do with some sort of exxos subscription scheme where I just pay a fixed amount each month and get the stuff sent as it comes in :)

That kinda thing was actually discussed several months ago when I was programming my new store... That people could build up credit on their account and do the order when they had enough credit. I think people were generally against it for various reasons, so I did not bother in the end.

Though some of this hardware is going to get incredibly expensive because of the amount of stuff which is packed on it. People do struggle to buy stuff because they cannot afford the outlay all in one go..
