I think one without the slots is worth a try too. Maeke's turned out ok.

I will modify the original one to be non-chamfered and with no slots for options.

Maeke printed 3 out at once by the looks of it.. so I will try that later as well.. likely end up better as discussed last night...

Will see how it turns out on my printer over the weekend too. Probably print a few sets if ok as all mine have broken over the years.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

I'm definitely interested in the results.

I printed 4 thinking it would print the top layer better as it would have more time to cool... But I ended stringy mess :-\
IMG_3550.JPG

I was actually printing at 0.12mm heights, so I changed it to 0.2mm and increase the filament the traction a little bit more.. And these printed out almost perfectly...

The overall finish is not as smooth on this setting, but print time is significantly reduced.. And these print out perfectly fine for usage anyway.

Basically yes, but due to the sloping ends they are a loose fit now than before.

Great thanks. Hopefully get my bed finally leveled just right on Sunday, then will print off one of each myself.

I have no worries that they won't 'work' as dimensionally they are correct, it's more a concern how they will print on the myriad 3D printers out there.

Will also add some over the weekend with no chamfer for those who'd prefer. Fusion 360 has an awesome history per model, so I just need to load them all up, save as a new model, then remove the chamfer. Hey presto 4 new supports with no chamfer :)
