Do you have boot with 48mb?
The computer part seems stuck here. No video and or Hd activity. (But it seems you have an ati card instead of a et4k)
It boots to the monitor with all 48MiB installed, 48MHz crystal and a rev6 '060. With a rev1 '060 it needs a slower crystal; I had success with a 32MHz crystal, faster might have worked but I did not have one handy.
Thanks for letting me know. Maybe there is some problem with the memory space 32-48 and the et4k.

Can I please ask anyone who has built a Raven already whether they have made a parts shopping basket on the likes of mouser / farnell etc, just to make shopping for parts a little easier. Thanks.

If you have KiCAD installed, you can generate a Mouser-ready BoM for A1; Anders has all the part number information in the design already.
If you don't, consider it - it's very handy to be able to look at the design when verifying things like part orientation, etc.

I've attached an A1 BoM I just generated. Note that this does *not* include the SRAM or ROM SIMM parts, just the MLB.

I didn't get time to make more ram during the weekend but as I did a bit of bootrom refactoring I noticed and fixed one thing that may have been related.
Normally, the boot code puts a bus-error region after the amount of installed memory since that's what TOS memory detection expects.
With the full 48MB installed that may have gotten overridden when setting up ST emulation space.
I moved the virtual ST memory space but haven't been able to verify if this was the only 48MB related issue or not.
(This breaks castaway until I've updated it too)

Mach32 specific memory map looks like it was broken too, and that may explain why that card was working a while ago but not when I tested it recently. I fixed that particular code issue but didn't get a chance to verify.

I haven't uploaded new binaries since I wanted to do some tests first but if you want, you could give it a go:
rom_tos.bin.zip

Hi,

Just tried it. Still same behavior.
So no ide activity and vga output with 48mb.
32mb no issues. Switching mem modules has no effect.
Serial output and NMI work with 48mb.

Thanks! I'll take a look when I get some more ram installed in my machine.

With those latest rom changes you are now able to use the Eiffel control software:

Very briefly tested by altering the fan on/off temperature settings.

Hi @agranlund the RT1206FRE071KL resistors are out of stock on mouser till the end of October, is there another mouser product we can use instead?

I'd say you could get any 1K resistor in 1206 size, but this one should be an exact equivalent: RT1206FRE131KL
The only difference is the dimension of the packaging reel but that would only matter if you buy the entire reel of them.
