@rubber_jonnie Just playing Ultima V music now in Phasor mode.

All seems to be working so far, even the dodgy sound effects :lol:

Nice one, it's on my list of test programs :) Not enough time to test it now though as working, and later I need to make a space for the furniture coming tomorrow. :(

It's so reminiscent of all the Atari 8 bit games I played back in the day, very similar sound to Pokey.

I guess it's my own fault really, I was just talking about these the other day on the forum and didn't own one at present.

That is until now, this arrived this morning.

It's not old as far as retro goes, it's a Sun Ultra 24 from 2007.

I haven't decided what flavour of OS to install on it yet, likely either Solaris or some Linux operating system. No idea which though. What would you guys recommend these days? Ubuntu? Red Hat? Sure? Etc. Too many to choose from.

Did I forget to mention? When buying Sun equipment, please practice your manual handling skills, these things are Heavy!
