It's an Apple IIe Phasor sound card from Reactivemicro.com

Everything is all very well labelled component wise. It's even come with flux, solder and an anti static wristband.

Out of curiosity, my board has 2 6522's as well as dual sound chips, does the Phasor have a similar setup?

Yes there are two 6522 and then 4 AY-3-891 and space for two speech chips

Interesting, I wonder if it is a fork of the Mockingboard, as aside from the 4 AY's it sounds rather similar. I have a spot for 2 speech chips too.

So what is the empty socket at the front for?

the other two are speech chips.
