Or, another one is, "And therefore it's obvious that..." followed by a huge logic jump into the unknown.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

My maths prof always used the term "quot erat demonstrantum" after showing the result of some mathematical calculation, without explaining how to get the result. And you better not raise your hand asking for an explanation.

Still makes my pulse go up thinking about math class in university...

I'm still processing how some Indian dude could take literally an hour and several of those huge blackboards in formulas and calculations to work out the beat of two frequencies.. I mean I got the answer "1" in like the first 30 seconds of the video. So I just don't get how it needs several blackboards worth of formulas and calculations to work it out... It just seems like taking a hour to explain "1+1".. Or maybe that was the point to make it as complicated as possible.. No idea.. But in any case, certainly "shiver" and glad I took more practical courses :lol:
