Happy to help where necessary, including with the ticketing system we setup last time @mrbombermillzy.mrbombermillzy wrote: Mon Feb 20, 2023 9:03 pm @PhilC Let me know if you want the original advert artwork or any other details of the previous event to avoid re-inventing the wheel.

Ok thanks for the feedback all.
I’ll start looking for a venue for September and also do a proper who’s coming thread.

As soon as @PhilC has a date/venue, I can start working on the artwork and help with planning the event; I'm sure @Icky mentioned that he was happy to help out too.
@exxos may possibly chip in as well with some ideas.
Hopefully we can keep the momentum going with this event. There were some superb machines and devices at the original Cyber Legends.

Re: Cyber Legends part 2 (2023)
Sorry guys. I’ve been very slow at anything retro at the moment with how real life is going.
I’ll report back asap with an update.

Re: Cyber Legends part 2 (2023)
Sorry for the delay guys.
I am seeing what availability a few of the local parish halls have for weekend afternoons / evenings in October.
It looks like the typical rental fees are £25 per hour over my way. So it would be good to get an idea how long you guys would like, how many would be coming and how much you would be prepared to contribute towards costs.
One of the locations I’m looking at would be Weston favell parish hall or similar venues in this area.

Oh, that's not far from where one of my cousins lives in Great Billing.
Only about an hour away from me up the A43.
As for contributions, whatever you need. Length of time, all day at the weekend would be great but at least an afternoon+evening. It has to be long enough that people don't spend all the time setting up and then dismantling.

Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Yeah I'd definitely come again, I think something like 10am-8pm would be good.

Looks like a 4 hour drive for me so will have to look for overnight accommodation. Am happy to transport anyone from the West Country to help with saving the planet and all that.
