Regarding @stephen_usher's question, as to what to bring...

I think perhaps it may be a good idea if anyone is not sure what to bring, to let us know here what you actually have available to bring.

At least that way, people can chip in with any comments of interest.

Just a thought. :)

(With this in mind, I'm probably going to start looking in the 'treasure stashes' in the house soon, to see what gear I still have, then maybe make a list here, so if anyone is interested, I can definitely bring that item to the event).

Ok, I'm going to put it out there:

Would anyone be interested in seeing (possibly buying/selling/bring your own) retro computer books?

(I'm guessing a Best catalog to browse through may go down well!)

Deposit has been paid for the 24th September 2pm-11.30pm, so it's going ahead.

Still haven't found out about kitchen facilities, but I've had a bit of a nightmare few days, so bear with me.

There's two of us working on a flyer so will hopefully have something to look at too, soon.

Although I cannot fully commit yet, I am showing interest. It's not too far from me.

Probably what is interesting from my collection (that is not a repetition of others) would be:
- Sparrow
- STBook with the new external FDD
- ATW800 (heavy as hell)
- CDAR504
- PC1 with PCH204
- PC4 Mitac
- 2080STF
- maybe the mods - water transfer ones if anyone interested them to see

Maybe just the ATW because I can easily catch you trying to run away with it.

@Robson I would be in awe at having seen an Atari Transputer in real life. I remember reading the INMOS/Transputer article in ST/Amiga Format magazine at the time (1988?) and was impressed by that parallel computing potential. Would love to see it.

However, the rest of your list isnt exactly run of the mill either ;)

Bring whatever you would like to bring. Its all good stuff! :D

Me and @viking272 are working on the flyer/notification gfx for an official 'whats happening' type of thing.

Im feverishly trying to finish some work I wanted to show, but Im not sure it will be ready in time. :(

On that tip, It would be really great if someone could knock up a demo for the show. :D (Worth a try, wasnt it? :lol: )
