I was watching your latest stream and see you had running issues with WHDLoad. You also mentioned the 360 needed caches(?) turned off to work.
Anyway there are quite a few options within WHDLoad and it might be detecting the 060 and turning on something, but you have turned it off, which might result in the crashing?

The latest WHDLoad on their website is now v18.5 and I see you are on 18.2. Again maybe some useful bug fixes may have been added for 040 & 060's.

Oh yeah!
18.2 indeed was full of bugs, please use 18.3 at least :!:

I'm pretty convinced that the only library that can support the TF360 is the MMULib library from Thor

http://aminet.net/package/util/libs/MMULib.lha

It updates SetPatch for me on the CD32 and is now working with CDIS jumper set.

However it still crashes with CDIS off so there may be other firmware glitches... that last one was an utter pain to find.

May I ask which chips are used for the 3,3v <--> 5V conversion?

It’s a separate switch mode module. Linear regulator isn’t up to the job

Sorry, my mistake.
I meant for the voltage translation for the bus.

It was a module someone sent me. I think they are being made by Mathesar on Amibay.

It`s tbtorro(Joszef) on Amibay who sells these modules in kit form, check his sales thread out here:
