What's the pinout of the firmware programming header? I figured it out the last time, but of course I deleted the photo I took of the wiring.

Just a thought.. would STOS read the _MCH cookie? HD driver (from v12 at least) sets the IDE flag (low word in _MCH) which causes some progs not to recognise an STe.

Yeah probably not. I created this little prog to unset it as I've run into it a few times. Might be worth a try perhaps.

Thanks. Didn't seem to help.

Hard to hold the cam and use the keyboard at the same time.. BUT..

Its the bottom part of the STOS logo which is corrupted. Sometimes the screen goes nuts like out of phase or something.

Sometimes it boots to the editor, othertimes it just churns out "bus error" in the editor.

If I still boot from hard drive, and just run STOS from floppy.. it boots fine...

Same copy of STOS on the IDE.. you get that corruption in TOS206.....

BUT in EMUTOS it all works fine!

:dizzy:

Maybe others can test STOS in TOS206.with IDE ?

https://exxosforum.co.uk/atari/STOSFLOPPY/STOS1904.zip

TTram may or may not be a factor in all this as well... I don't know if it's. 030 thing or not... BUT I've run STOS fine on my falcon for years.... Other than no TTram, I likely used a older HD8 version..

I suppose someone with a DFB1X could try STOS as well.. Falcon has IDE anyway... But maybe unfair as it's TOS404

Sorry, I've not replaced my CPLD yet so can't do much testing, but this feels awfully similar to the autoboot interrupt emulation problems I had back on the first board.

J'accuse!
