I'm wondering if a simpler solution would be a short 13 pin din male to 13 pin din female cable that does the swapping around to allow for a standard cable to plug into that.
Can do the same on the floppy port and just leave them plugged in ready to accept a standard floppy/video cable without messing with the board?

I don't think there will be, for a lot of people its not worth the postage from UK to USA, in particular as I order small stuff from USA to UK, shipping back to USA would take like 2 months round trip.Forgottenmyname wrote: 06 Oct 2018 16:53 I'm just waiting for the unf*ck section on the Exxos store :D
As for unf*ck, the "bad word" filter isn't turned on :)

If you find that easier then for sure go with that :)PeteW wrote: 06 Oct 2018 17:37 I'm wondering if a simpler solution would be a short 13 pin din male to 13 pin din female cable that does the swapping around to allow for a standard cable to plug into that.

Even easier is to watch from a safe distance and just make stupid suggestions 😀 I'll go with that!

Finally got the boarding on after a lot of messing around. Those pins are soooo annoying to get into the holes.
Now to un-f*ck my cable to test

So what sort of height does the spacer need to be?
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

The space for mine is 11mm which gives enough clearance from the RGB Buffer components. I did cut down the legs so it could of been up to 15mm.
EDIT: you could go down to 10mm so it between 10 - 15mm

I would recommend waiting. It will save messing around with cables and also stop you plugging the wrong ones in.PaulJ wrote: 06 Oct 2018 19:40 Yes, I'd love to solder the video connector on but the thought of unsoldering it makes me cringe.. :stickwhack: :stickwhack: :stickwhack: So I believe I'll wait for the Un-F*ck boards I ordered. :dizzy: :dizzy: I really HATE waiting..

Re: Icky - Progress
On more adjustment today to clean up using the 32.084988 MHz crystal.
I had it with wires stuck into the socket for the crystal which was a bit of a mess hanging in mid air.
Created a DIL adaptor with a bit of wiring to wire down to the smaller socket.
Plus a little heat gun action to keep it in one block so I can easily plug in and out.
Had to lie the R915 flat out of the way.
