Works a beauty on the Falcon! Thanks for the pointer, @coonsgm!

No, thanks for that. I'd mostly been using Macintosh Repository and searching Google, Mac Garden looks a great resource.

In fact, whilst I was there I picked up another program too. This one looked interesting...

...it wouldn't be Badwolf playing with emulators if there weren't a degree of Inception involved. :lol:

There's the emulator. The Mac software was found by searching Macintosh Garden.

Cheers,

Hey there Badwolf, would you mind sharing an image of the partition you use with Basilisk?

I'm away from home for a few days, but my setup is somewhat convoluted. It's not a simple single image, I'm afraid. It'd total over 10G, I think.

They all start from Anders' example images on his website, and linked in this thread, however.

I think 1x is around what I would expect on my ST that has the same slow 8Mhz bus as the Mac Classic.
ST is faster than Mac Classic since 68000 in ST is not stalled like in Mac - on Mac, CPU can not access memory while video circuit accessing RAM (IIRC).

ST with Aladin or Spectre, was waster then true Mac Classic with larger resolution and all of this for half price of Mac! :D
using Atari since 1986.http://wet.atari.orghttp://milan.kovac.cc/atari/software/ ・ Atari Falcon030/CT63/SV ・ Atari STe ・ Atari Mega4/MegaFile30/SM124 ・ Amiga 1200/PPC ・ Amiga 500 ・ C64 ・ ZX Spectrum ・ RPi ・ MagiC! ・ MiNT 1.18 ・ OS X

Actually, the ST with Spectre GCR is only faster because the clock speed is higher than the Mac. Both have contended RAM access for video in the same way.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.
