Finally, found the time to start to take care of my A3000, which in the meantime has started failing again...

First, since I want to avoid buying new parts as much as possible, I started by scavenging those from the failing motherboard:

800XL and 65XE both with Ultimate1MB,VBXL/XE & PokeyMax, SIDE3, SDrive Max, 2x 1010 cassette, 2x 1050 one with Happy mod, 3x 2600 Jr, 7800 and Lynx II
Approx 20 STs, including a 520 STM, 520 STFMs, 3x Mega ST, MSTE & 2x 32 Mhz boosted STEs
Plus the rest, totalling around 50 machines including a QL, 3x BBC Model B, Electron, Spectrums, ZX81 etc...

At some point it'd be nice to upgrade my A5000 to 8Mb, 4 just isn't enough, but options are limited at the moment.

The only option is Evilbay, but prices are often pure madness.

Somebody is working on a solution over on Stardot, but how long it'll be I don't know.

Prices on Evilbay and CJE are just eye watering.

Depending on which MEMC1a it will use, I guess it won't be cheap either...

And since MEMC1a @ 12MHz seem to be unobtainium now, you will be limited to the more common 10MHz one.
