Re: REV 3 - The beginning
TBH... probably best just to drop the TF536 altogether lest some amiga person buys one thinking it will work in their machine.exxos wrote: 20 Apr 2021 19:27Yeah I could do that..stephen_usher wrote: 20 Apr 2021 17:53 Re: Name. Exxos530 is fine

Re: REV 3 - The beginning
Muahahaha...
Running from fast ram... (cache is hardwired off in this test)
Oddly though, when BLTFIX.PRG is run the floppy starts to malfunction The screen gets corrupted and it crashes
EDIT:
This current STE is 512K machine.. so maybe it needs more RAM...
EDIT2:
OK so when caches are on the floppy malfunctions then it seems  This machine does not have any other fixes done either yet so it could be anything..

Re: REV 3 - The beginning
It looks like there is a bit of noise on one of the data lines as it will only boot with the scope probe on it now
This setup seems be suffering similar problems as when MAPROM was run, it would start corrupting the floppy contents.
I have been trying to get EMUTOS working, but that seems to suffer a similar problem where the floppy stops working when it has loaded. This board will otherwise run perfectly fine on my H4 under TOS206 / EMUTOS.
EDIT:
Looks like with TOS206 it doesn't like the caches on for floppy.. and yet on a H4 I don't have this problem
