@arkadiusz.makarenko Just updated to V0.51 and so far so good. I'll put a whole leadoff roms onto the USB and will see what we get.

BTW, not sure if it's possible or not but can a reset button be incorporated into the cartridge? None of my MSX's have a reset button, so I have to power it off and back on each time
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

I have considered it, unfortunately NYYRIKKI said that some MSXs have reset line buffered. On top of it documentation says that cart slot have reset line marked as output only. This was the reason why I never continued work on this feature.

Ok, I didn't know that. I might see if I can fit a reset button directly to the CPU then somehow.

@PhilC @Higgy

As you have last firmware now, could I ask you to load one of SCC titles?
Eg. F1 Sprint, Nemesis 2, Nemesis 3 (MSX 1)
Space Manbow (MSX2)

There is option to have SCC enabled (EN DIS).
What I would like to know how bad volume is for SCC emulated stuff.

Can you please update the Github regarding if SCC emulation is TX-RX Open or Closed. Sorry my memory is really bad and i've seen it somewhere but could not find it within the 2 threads of RiskyMSX.

Regarding the Menu, 2 things.
1. I am getting it that the Rom Mapper selection is 1 line out. So the cursor starts at line 2 and not 1. So for example if I select mapper SCC EN, it actually selects the Mapper above - No SSC.
2. Can the Mapper selection text be shifted say 2 characters to the Right? Give the same spacing as the Rom selection screen. As on a CRT, the first letters on the Mapper selection screen are off the side of my CRT screen (Rom selection screen is fine, there is a nice gap).

Picking Nemesis 2, loads ok with No SCC, but with SCC I get glitching in the title screen and main game, I can't play it? Is this an issue with my MSX?

Thanks.

IIRC for SCC it's jumper on which is where I've left it.

The sound is louder now on V0.51 but maybe 80% of the normal sound volume but will recheck tomorrow.

I used Space Manbow as the game.

I've not noticed the wrong spacing and incorrect menu selections but I'm using it on a modern TV and not a CRT, so maybe that's the reason?

Will try it on a couple of other MSX 1s tomorrow.

Only bit that's annoying is trying to figure out the mapper to use. I have some 128k roms that I don't know which option to use as a for instance.

Sorry, I will update it. No need for jumper from v0.5. everything is picked up from menu now.

I can't get that bug replicated at my MSXs, could you take a screenshot please?
I may want to cut one character from filename if needed. Another issue might be filesize.

ROM and Mappers spacing should be the same. But it is not for some reason on your MSXs

There are 2 KONAMI mapper types. KONAMI without SCC is a type of mapper.

On top of it I have split KONAMI with SCC to EN and DIS , to indicate enabled and disabled SCC emulation.
So my assumption is that you are trying to use wrong mapper type?

Edit:
As I know that filesize calculation is ok'ish. My assumption now is that some MSX may not take well column change form Screen mode? It has been changed from 29 characters to 32. Maybe I will cut 3 characters from filename?

I will work on mapper selection guide at one point. There must be some kind of online database somewhere.

I can see that my pagination is a little bit shit. I know why, as I am skipping folders, but pagination skip calculation still uses index which includes folders

@Higgy
There is new firmware to try. I have changed how I print menus, from relative to absolute coordinates. Plus I moved right all menu by one column to fix the issue on CRTs, and I shortened filename length by one character.

Still need to look at pagination at one point.
