Cyber Legends 3 Poll

I know people are uber busy with life it seems everyone has a cold atm (me included!) but any further progress on concrete dates etc. ?

I will get on it by the weekend and we should be finalised with a fixed date/time by sometime next week.

But first, I have to ask...

So, September and an earlier, rather than late event are a given.

However, the poll shows a pretty close Sat/Sun split, with Sunday *just* ahead.

Now, I never voted, as I was fairly easy going with the options at the time. However, I have since started a new job now which would make it far less hassle for me to be able to hold the event on a Saturday.

Would anyone be particularly adverse to having the event held on a Saturday?

Also, if anyone absolutely cant do any particular weekend in September, now would be a good time to speak up. :D

I'll need to check when my son starts back at uni - should be able to find out by the weekend. I'm not fussed about which day at the weekend though (but I'd probably take my son over on a Sunday)...

@mrbombermillzy I'm happy with Saturday or Sunday but even though I voted for September, its a pretty busy month for me, So can probably only do first or last week in September, ie 7th & 8th or 28th & 29th but do go with the majority obviously.

Apologies for the delay, but things never go as smoothly as expected and I have been firing and receiving emails from the lady who looks after the hall hire.

So as @PhilC is essentially my right hand man, Ive taken his requests into consideration and:

The only Saturday in September the hall is available is Sat 7th Sept, but there is also a Womens scrapbooking event (?) going on in a small adjacent room off the main hall. :roll: :lol:

Otherwise, both Sundays are (still) available for 8th and 29th Sept.

So what does everyone think? Saturday or Sunday?

Even though I was more leaning towards a Saturday personally. I don't fancy the idea of a bunch of women taking over the kitchen etc. I assume they are elderly people probably want peace and quiet which we will probably not give them :lol:

My thoughts exactly.

Much as I dont really want to do the Sunday(whichever one), it looks like that is the better option.

@stephen_usher might be pleased to know that I also might as well book the adjacent room too to avoid any further 'social entanglements'. :lol:

Well, its basically to avoid any intrusions.

Goodness knows what 'scrapbooking' is, or why you need to hire a function room to do it, so I think its best to book both rooms to avoid the whole issue completely and have done with it.

Besides, it'll mean we have some extra space for more exhibitors. :D

Yeah it could be a monthly meetup to swap images of all the bodies they buerrid... So just not worth the risk...
