Logic analyser recommendations ?

Ironically while snooping around my PC I found the original install from 2013

Clicking the go button makes the LA USB light flash on the hardware, so I assume it's all connected fine.

You can try DreamSourceLab DSLogic Plus or upper variants. I use DSLogic Basic.

DSLogic U3Pro32 looks best of them. Impressive parameters but it is far too expensive for me.

At the moment anything would be a improvement over a two channel scope

I think you will not be disappointed. I enjoyed working with the equipment and software. For such ordinary research it is enough. I don't know if it will handle the 25MHz clock well - a little short of samples using all channels.

Mixed signal oscilloscopes are not great logic analysers I'm afraid. They have short capture lengths.

I have a Tektronics one and the "cheap" Chinese 16 channel one beats it hands down for diagnostics on digital kit.

Just ordered that. Even if I can only get 4 channels to sample it's still 2 more than my scope.

Been looking for a "first scope" for a long time. The wife said I could get one for Christmas, and it's taken me this long to decide.
Was looking at PC LA's as opposed to the MSO's, but wasn't sure about laying clocks from the scope over the logic captured on a PC. I've seen there's more than a few open source programs that would likely do fine.
My PC is on the brink of needed a completely replacement, that swayed me sort of a bit.
The big deal with the Rigo decision was HDMI out. I absolutely can't see without glasses anymore.

First project will be to set it up and duplicate the captures Rodolphe Cubza documented working with the CT60.
