The process I tend to use is to start an emulator like Hatari or Steem (If you're running Linux then Hatari is the best option) and set up a machine running the ROM you want, then use one of the ST rom dumping apps such as ROMDUMP or TOSDUMP to dump the ROMs to file directly.

What's the point of doing that? If you are running an emulator, you already have a ROM dump in a file.

What's the point of doing that? If you are running an emulator, you already have a ROM dump in a file.

Because the ROMs I use for Hatari are a single file and I am splitting them into files I can use for either 2 or 6 chip sets.
