Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

You should try a Malamute if you think any cat is bad for depositing fur all over the place!
The "joke" is that they only moult twice a year....the first time lasts about 6 months...the second lasts the rest of the year!

I'd love a Malamute, but I also like my stuff the way it is and the cat is bad enough!!JezC wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 9:20 pmYou should try a Malamute if you think any cat is bad for depositing fur all over the place!

Re: What's in the box - a new retro purchase
Ah yes...our sole remaining cat has a penchant for biting through thin cables - apparently it's a Savannah thing! - so I fully understand your concerns...but our Mal, Jet, is far less destructive than Bagheera.rubber_jonnie wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 9:50 pm I'd love a Malamute, but I also like my stuff the way it is and the cat is bad enough!!
It's more like having a small donkey wandering around in the house wooing at everybody.
Not to mention how her favourite person is always the one with food...and if it's a toasted teacake with butter you're likely to get her undivided attention!
Anyway, enough of these diversions...better get back to planning my next retro repair!
