If there is a simple thing to load so I can test GB6's patches... ?

It's the LFED20.PRG in the zip (the original folder inside contains older stuff...).

LINE_F.zip

Install it in the auto folder. On a MSTE or ST with SFP-004 it should pass your FPUTEST program, allow starting GB's float test - but then crash.

ah don't think I can test it then here as I can only really try it in steem. I don't have any FPU machines other than my Falcon.

You could manipulate the _FPU cookie on your Falcon and set it to 0x0001 in the high word and 0x0001 in the low word. GB then still should execute on the FPU via LineF ops.

I have no idea how to do that.. and no room to plug my Falcon in either currently.. but here you can try it... would still need testing on a Falcon or something to make sure i've not broke stuff also..

GB609B33.zip
Starting the version prints out only an error message with

"File not found at line 21 in file E:\GB6\GUI33.BAS in modue BLOAD/BSAVE"

Is the zip content expected to be merged or is something missing? Does happen without LFED being installed too.

Odd, works fine here.. Wherever you run GB6 .PRG from then just put GB6B33.PRG there, but not sure if you need the RSC file as well.. but otherwise should run as before..

Renaming helps to start it, it still doesn't recognize an FPU nor an LineF emulation and just reports that no FPU was found when trying to start the FPU test.
