Possibly either. But seems to be isolated to the built board.
I’m concerned If these F7xx are this fragile they aren’t fit to be used in anger.
EDIT: not PSU as I’ve powered it all up with a monster accurate power supply and still get the same response.

I've posted you a board. there are three resistors you need to solder on before you put the DB23 on. i'll give you details later.

I was worried that you gave up a little on it because of issues with arm.

What would be high level goals for stm32 except HID. Flashfloppy port?
