Might be a idea to scope out the RDY line.. I've had a lot of trouble with that on the STE..

I took a quick look at the audio amp, its actually got more gain than the original ST amp

I have some bad news on the audio since the dateline re-wire on the ACIAs the sound has gone away. Forgottenmyname also is has no audio.

I'm not really liking no pullups on the LS06... you could try something like 10K pull ups on U14's outputs...

Must be some other issues somewhere then, as ACIA has nothing to do with audio..

Can't see any issues with the floppy circuit.. I guess someone needs to double check I haven't missed anything..

Did you try formatting a floppy ?

For the audio, as said before, try audio test in the cart, scope out the YM outputs and see if you get anything there during the audio test...

Those pull-ups on the U14 sprang the floppy into life.
