I would go with the later firmware though anyway. Previous firmware had known issues which were all fixed in the last version.

Re: Raspberry PI PICO ATARI ST Hard Drive Emulator (WIP)
OK, TLDR
i've got one of these drives now, which I'm using on a Mega ST. So it comes with the ribbon cable and adaptor to DB19. Is it possible to connect the ribbon cable to the internal ACSI header? Or is an adapter PCB required?

Hi
A quick look at a MST schematic shows it will need an adapter board. If that's something you can do, look at the Db19 pin out for signals - MST schematic

J10 and J17
Good luck

Thanks, do you have the pinout for the IDC connector on the board itself? I'll likely make up a cable to interface directly from there, then power it from inside the Mega ST somewhere.dad664npc wrote: 05 Mar 2025 14:29 Hi

Yes of course. I'm not home during the week. If I get a chance (remember :)), I'll post details over weekend

Re: Raspberry PI PICO ATARI ST Hard Drive Emulator (WIP)
@exxos - did someone confirm there was no issue with this connected to an STE with a 32MHz accelerator in the end?
I bought one (and have used it on a plain ST thus far...might even get connected to the Mega ST with my ATW800/2 board inside it at some point) but still haven't tried it with the accelerated STE.
Now trying to work out if I can push my birthday & father's day list far enough to take advantage of that special offer...but I suspect I'll get a straight 'No' from my wife & kids... :(
