Looks more dirty than yellowed, should clean up nicely. They are kinda robust, but you do have the custom chips to worry about, though they are generally reliable. If it's dead/injured it'll be a decent project.
As for Evri...
I can say our local Everi driver is good, however it's the bits in-between the poster and delivery guy you have to worry about.

Yeah, just looks grubby with a missing badge. I've no idea if it comes with a PSU or not.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Re: General Stuff(tm)
They just need 5v, easy enough to run off a bench PSU. Be aware of the 'ingot' PSUs as they can kill the machine if they go bad. I have some replacements from Lotharek that use a GS1805-P1J from Meanwell. They just need a DIN plug fitting to match the Atari.stephen_usher wrote: 16 Dec 2025 12:32 Yeah, just looks grubby with a missing badge. I've no idea if it comes with a PSU or not.
Badges are available on eBay, but I don't think they are that good a match for the original which are like this:
I have seen some that are closer than others, but it depends on how finicky you want to be.

Re: General Stuff(tm)
Yeah, doing a quick look on eBay just showed "enhanced" badges, which are a bit useless.
Thanks for the original PSU info. Yeah, I saw that it was a DIN with just GND and +5V. I may look at the possibility of replacing the DIN with a USB-C power delivery socket using a converter PCB.

Yeah, there are a few USB C to DIN adapters showing for the XL series on eBay, so should be something simple to do.stephen_usher wrote: 16 Dec 2025 14:09 Yeah, doing a quick look on eBay just showed "enhanced" badges, which are a bit useless.

BTW the rating is 1.5A for the original. The Meanwell is 3a so very over specced.

Re: General Stuff(tm)
I may even have an old 5V wall wart which will do that.rubber_jonnie wrote: 16 Dec 2025 14:30 BTW the rating is 1.5A for the original. The Meanwell is 3a so very over specced.

Re: General Stuff(tm)
Thanks! :-)
Let's see what state it arrives in after being at the hands of Evri. Maybe it'll need that extreme rebuild. :-)
