Glad to have you back, I can totally relate to the shaking hands and eyesight issues, I have to use at least a magnifying glass for all soldering work now.

Thanks @rubber_jonnie, I now need to get myself up to speed with where I left off some projects with @exxos and @ijor to re-ignite some of them.

I'm sure you'll be up to speed in no time and I'm looking forwards to seeing the results

Absolutely not. Eyesight failing, shaking hands, and out of practice contributed in me pulling the 0603 pad off the pad that I actually needed to use.

Now I am back in the saddle you may start to see me becoming more active again in the hardware perspective on the forum. It's been quite a hiatus.

Know that feeling! I don't recommend the getting old thing!

I mean when you're younger you think, I can't wait to be older, do what you want when you want... Only when you're actually older, body says no..

I know how you feel. My brain doesn't function in the morning unless it's consumed copious amounts of coffee.

The getting old thing is definitely catching up with me too.

I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis earlier in the year, mostly my knees and hips, but with a little in my fingers and other joints too. That made my karate grading that bit harder. Cycling

Brain fog isn't a problem yet, but its probably coming...

I can totally relate... started off being able to solder in my youth, but now, like you said, shaky hand syndrome and eyesight put paid to me doing any more nowadays.

Looking forwards to seeing some new and existing projects continued with perhaps renewed vigor.

It is a bit of a guilty pleasure. I just like the simplicity of the carts and the feel of having physical media. I have been thinking of a project to put an Evercade Alpha into a full sized arcade cabinet. Watch this space.
