I think the IRQ was "Stuck" and the GLUE was thinking the floppy wanted constant DMA access..

We are making great progress but I guess we keep having these brick walls in front of us but we keep smashing them down.

One thing I have noticed is the screen flashes white every now and again - every 3 mins or so.

Another thought is that when we have finished and get a working STF you will have a modern legible schematic.

Do you have both gnds connected on the keyboard connector ? Phil mentioned the keyboard caused issues without pin 8 connected..

As for the audio, we dont know if the new audio amp works ... probably idea is to try the diag-cart via serial and get the sound test running... check the audio out pins on the YM chip directly on scope and see if you see some activity there...

I'm checking the YM circuit in general and not found anything yet...

Well thats the funny thing I did get sound at one point when testing with the diagnostic cart - don't know when abouts but I definitely had sound.

Back in the thread somewhere. Cant remember if it was post or pre the GLUE DATALINE FIX.

Sound was before GLUE DATALINE FIX. I will check with scope though

Even more oddities then.. datalines were definitely wrong... not good when a fix breaks something though :roll:
