Thanks Steve, I have done that already. As you point out, its a bit sad how small the community is that I am the only one that has put these in this board, but so far I think you are right.
Yeah 34 flashy clocks are being built. 4 flash ROM banks, RTC, 8MB ALT RAM.

indeed the community is ever getting smaller. There a loads of projects I want to do, but health and life stuff just getting in the way these days. Finishing the H5 addons and related stuff will probably be where I'll end things.. But getting off topic there now.

Also bare in mind the Phenonix platform is not likely going to work with 3rd party addons unless they are specifically designed for the platform. Or at the very least have verified addons, but with only myself and @Icky working on the stuff, all I can say is all our stuff will play nice together on the platform. If others want to design addons then great, but they need to be certified by us as to work correctly and not conflict with any of our current stuff.

But like you say, the community is to small for just about everything these days, so I doubt there will ever be any 3rd party compatible addons. Problem mostly is most of the ST addons haven't been made for over 30 years. Its why we are starting again so to speak with the phoenix platform. A lot of the stuff was just flaky hacks which never worked right anyway  its just time to move on and go in a new direction :)

OK, I got it all working in my H5C1, software issue was the final hurdle.

Now FLOPPY stand offs?? did we determine what size we have here on this board?? because the standard one does not fit.. did we come up with an STL to print ones that fit?

Once I get my floppy fit.. I am done with this. Until the Flashyclock gets in.. then I will swap that in. have a 3.3v addon... ohhhh tricky!

I had a better look, the holes are wrong on the C1 :( They only fit the brass spacers, not the plastic ones. It's the same on the rev C3 as well, so nobody has noticed this until now.

Will see if I can do a STL for new spacers later today.

I know everyone has been down over the winter, but did the FLASYCLOCKS get built?

I did a search and I don't find anything more on them?

I wanted to use a floppy but was not able to fit it in is original spot (I carved the printed standoffs I had to fit the holes) because of my Lightning ST in the 5v expansion .. so I shoe goo the floppy in for now. Easy enough to remove when different expansions come out and I can fit it.

I currently don't have a 1 piece cover for this ST case anyway.. so it's looking very Frankenstein at the moment.

Anyone used a H5 to test a PAK/3 tower?

I have a PAK/3 stack that I am having troubles with in a MegaST4 board.

I need ANOTHER board to test the stack in.

If I was going to try and use the H5 - would I need to remove the PLCC CPU?? or could I have the jumpers set on the STack to use the 030 and its not an issues just as if I had a DIL CPU on the STACK?

I am going to use my LightningST - that is what I am having the conflict with on the Stack

I can use Stormy and Cloudy or I have the exxos dual tos chip and decoder.

Opinions on this for testings?

All I know is you would have to remove the PLCC CPU because you can only have one CPU on the bus at one time. Other than that, as far as I know, you are in untested territory and will be the only person to try it.

Yeah, I did remove the PLCC cpu, but was not able to successfully boot the pak/3 stack in the H5. OH well.

Just thought I would post here and let those interested know. I am planning a PIstorm board for the H5

I know one has already been successfully done, so its a do-able build. I am using my PAK stuff in a MegaST4 .

Built a new FRAK/2 and that will begin testing soon.

Been a very busy non atari summer.

Getting back into it now.
